Meet the Orange County Team Behind Tilehurst Roofing Orange County
Roofing isn’t a solo act. A good roof over your head takes a crew that shows up on time, knows the trade cold, and doesn’t treat your home like just another job site. The Tilehurst Roofing Orange County team is small enough that you’ll see the same faces from estimate to final cleanup, and experienced enough to handle everything from a stubborn leak in a tile valley to a full tear-off on a hillside home in Orange. Greg Holloway has built this crew around one rule: do the work the way you’d want it done on your own house. That’s not a slogan here. It’s how the schedule gets made.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Luis M. – Lead Technician
Luis has been on Orange County roofs for 19 years, and he’s the guy we send when a leak has already fooled two other companies. He’s certified in GAF and CertainTeed installation systems, and he’s the first to admit that most “mystery leaks” turn out to be flashing that was installed backward years ago. Luis grew up in Santa Ana and can tell you which 1980s tract-home developments have original decking that’s still solid and which ones need plywood replaced before the underlayment goes down. Off the clock, he restores old bicycles. He says it’s the same satisfaction as a clean ridge line: you fix the small thing now so the whole thing doesn’t fail later.
Melissa R. – Service Coordinator
Melissa is the voice you’ll hear when you call. She’s been dispatching roofing crews in Southern California for 11 years and she keeps a running map of Orange County traffic in her head at all times, which means the window we give you is a real window, not a guess. She tracks every job from first call through the 365-Day Done Right Promise period, so if a repair ever needs a second look, she’s the one who gets the crew back out, no charge, inside the guarantee. Melissa lives in Garden Grove and she’ll ask you about your dog. Write the dog’s name in the job notes; she’ll remember it next time you call.
Dave K. – Senior Installer
Dave has been installing roofs since 2002, and he’s done full replacements in every major material we offer: GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, IKO, Atlas, Tamko, and Boral. He’s our go-to for steep-slope work in the canyon neighborhoods, where setup matters as much as the shingle itself. Dave is certified in Owens Corning and Atlas systems, and he’s the one who trains our apprentices on drip edge, ridge cap, and underlayment the right way: measure twice, nail it once, and never walk past a loose piece without fixing it. He’s from Fullerton originally and he brings his own ladder, which the rest of the crew respects more than any certificate.
Marcus T. – Apprentice
Marcus started with us two years ago as a ground guy, hauling old shingles and keeping the job site clean. Today he’s working toward his installer certification under Dave, and he’s already earned his OSHA 10 and fall-protection training. Marcus is the one who runs the final magnet sweep at the end of every job, and he’s picked up so many nails from driveways in Huntington Beach that it’s become a point of pride. He’s from Anaheim and he asks a lot of questions, which is exactly what you want in an apprentice. Gravitancy, he says, doesn’t care how much you know. He’s not wrong.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Tilehurst Roofing location is independently owned and operated under the Kingswell Guarantee, which means the crew here in Orange County is held to the same standard as every other Kingswell family location. That standard is the Kingswell Way, and it’s not a training video. It’s five things we actually do: say the price before the work starts, show up in the window we gave, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails. Every repair gets a written guarantee delivered before the crew leaves, not mailed later. Every new roof gets a written price before any work begins. Every call gets a live person, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends. And if a repair fails inside the 365-Day Done Right Promise, we return at no charge. No argument, no fine print, no “let me check with the office.” Greg’s rule is simple: if it’s not done right, we make it right. The crew knows it. The customer knows it. That’s the whole system.
Call (559) 295-5445 and Melissa or another live person will answer. We’ll put the price in writing before any work starts, and the guarantee in writing before the crew leaves.
